Simon Jackson has a diverse work experience, spanning over 15 years. Simon started their career as a Design Engineer at Amoeba 2, Skipton, where they successfully turned around a failing business in the lifestyle clothing market. After that, they joined Survitec Group Ltd. and held various roles, including Lean Manager, Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager, and Business Improvement and Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Simon played a vital role in implementing lean principles and optimizing manufacturing processes during their time at Survitec Group Ltd. Simon then transitioned to Hughes Armstrong Industries, where they served as the Group Business Improvement Manager, focusing on stabilizing underperforming manufacturing companies through operational excellence strategies. Simon later joined IDEX Corporation and assumed roles such as Head of Continuous Improvement and Quality at Precision Polymer Engineering Limited and Head of Lean Enterprise and Strategic Customer Focus for IDEX Sealing Solutions Platform. Simon also worked at Hiab as the Global Operational Excellence Director and at Tenneco as the Regional Director for VSS EMEA. Currently, Simon is serving as the Director F&S - Business Optimization at IDEX Corporation.

Simon Jackson attended the University of Central Lancashire from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a BEng in Motorsport Engineering. Simon also holds additional certifications in various areas such as finance, leadership, Lean Six Sigma, and auditing.
