Steve Hamelin

Steve Hamelin, CPA, CA has over 29 years of experience in various financial leadership roles. Steve began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as an Audit Tax Manager, where they gained experience in planning, executing, and managing audit and review engagements. Steve then joined Honeywell ASCa Inc. as a Controller, where they directed reporting to the US parent company and coordinated annual operating plans. Hamelin later became the Financial Controller at Honeywell International Inc. and was responsible for financial and management reporting for multiple plant sites. Steve then served as the Manufacturing Controller at Honeywell International Inc., where they provided financial advice and oversight for global manufacturing facilities. Hamelin then moved to UOP LLC (A Honeywell Company), where they held the roles of Controller/Director of Accounting and Director of Finance, overseeing financial reporting and planning for the global business unit. Currently, they are the Segment Vice President Finance & IT at IDEX Corporation, where they lead the coordination of financial planning, reporting, and budget management for the Fire, Safety, and Diversified Segment and Emerging Markets. Hamelin has extensive experience in financial stewardship, strategic planning, and business partnership.

Steve Hamelin, CPA, CA completed an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Windsor in 1991. Steve later obtained the Chartered Accountant designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
