David Black

David Black is a Senior Program Manager focused on Value Chain Transformation at IDH, where they lead initiatives aimed at improving agricultural supply chains across Africa. Previously, they served as a Senior Programme Officer within IDH's Fresh and Ingredients program, managing the Sustainable Juice Covenant and supporting value chain development initiatives. David has also worked as an Economics Researcher with PETCO and held various roles in sustainability consulting and education. They earned a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Commerce in Economics, along with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Cape Town.
