David Smith has extensive work experience in the digital marketing industry. David is currently the Operations Director - Web Division at IDHL Group, one of the fastest-growing digital marketing agencies in the UK. Previously, they held the position of Operations Director at Edit, where they implemented and maintained large-scale ERP solutions for over 300 staff across multiple sites. Before that, they served as the Operations Director at Branded3, where they were responsible for the delivery of various digital marketing services and managed teams in Leeds and London. David also held roles as Head of Operations, Senior Search Strategist, Web Outreach Manager, Search Strategist, and SEO Analyst at Branded3, where they gained experience in strategic planning, client management, SEO, and improving web exposure and site traffic for clients.

David Smith attended the University of Liverpool from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Archaeology and Ancient History. In 2018, they enrolled in Instructus and iCQ for a Higher Level Apprenticeship and a Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management and Leadership, respectively. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as the Google Ads Search Certification from Google in 2021, the Managing Safely certification from IOSH in 2020, and the Directing Safely certification from IOSH in 2016. In 2013, David also obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google Analytics.
