HISTORY

The department of Gastroenterology was established at the SL Raheja Hospital in 2003. Over the past 15 years, it has served thousands of patients and has distinguished itself especially in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures and emergency control of GI Bleed.
It has hosted several international conferences and CME for educational purposes and published several research papers. With the ever expanding need for digestive and liver care, and proliferation in endoscopy procedures, it became necessary to house the department in a larger area with the aim to provide a more comprehensive array of services in comfortable surroundings. Thus the IDLCare was born.
