Steve Vargo

Steve Vargo, OD, MBA, is an accomplished Optometric Practice Management Consultant at IDOC, specializing in staff management and practice operations since November 2014. With extensive experience that includes authoring books based on insights from over 3,000 consultations to enhance practice efficiency, Vargo previously founded and served as CEO of New Media OD, a media and education company dedicated to eye care professionals. Vargo's earlier roles include owning iMobile Communications, consulting for Global EyeVentures, and practicing optometry in various clinics with a focus on pediatrics, dry eye therapy, and ocular nutrition. Vargo holds an OD from the Illinois College of Optometry and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, complemented by a BS in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington.
