Jay Mehta

Jay Mehta is a Clinical Researcher and Clinical Observer at the University of Cincinnati Department of Neurosurgery since February 2023, and serves as an International Student Ambassador for IDP Education Ltd. Since January 2023, Jay has also worked as a Graduate Research Fellow at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, focusing on a capstone project aimed at reducing the burden of second primary cancers among cancer survivors through a virtual health promotion intervention. Previous experience includes involvement as a Member at MSAI and the Gender Equity Initiative in Global Surgery, a Research Intern at the University of Cincinnati College of Allied Health Science, and a Medical Intern at Civil Hospital Ahmedabad. Jay holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (2021-2023) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Sumandeep Vidyapeeth (2014-2019).
