Michael James

Michael James has over 15 years of extensive experience in educational management and operations, notably serving as Director of IELTS Operations for Australasia and Japan at IDP Education Ltd since September 2011. His roles have included Regional Manager and Operations Manager, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing IELTS testing and international student recruitment, business development, and P&L management in Western Australia. Prior to IDP, Michael held managerial positions at Curtin University and EF Education First, where significant accomplishments included improving school recommendation rates and establishing a registered TOEIC Testing Centre. Michael's educational background features an MBA from The University of Western Australia, a Graduate Certificate in Business from Curtin University, a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from the University of New England, and a Diploma of Engineering from Auckland University of Technology.
