Murali Beela

Murali Beela has a strong background in data engineering and business intelligence. Murali currently serves as the Lead Data Engineer at IDP Education Ltd since September 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer at the same company from November 2019 till August 2022.

Before joining IDP Education Ltd, Murali served as a Senior BI Consultant at Equinix from September 2015 to October 2019. In this role, they were responsible for delivering end-to-end data warehousing and business intelligence solutions, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Murali also played a key role in extracting, transforming, and loading data from hybrid source systems, and providing actionable insights to business users. Murali successfully delivered multiple reporting solutions that enabled Marketing Strategy & Insights business users to identify new prospects and expand their customer base.

Prior to Equinix, Murali worked as a Senior BI Consultant at Cittabase Solutions Pte Ltd from September 2014 to September 2015. Here, they worked on designing and developing data warehouse and reporting solutions for the client, Equinix. Murali implemented enterprise data warehousing and data marts by extracting and transforming data from multiple source systems.

Murali started their career as an IT Consultant at Oracle India Pvt Ltd from September 2011 to September 2014. Murali gained valuable experience in the IT industry during this time.

Murali began their professional journey as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services in August 2010.

Murali Beela obtained a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2006 to 2010. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including DataRobot for Data Scientists from DataRobot, Inc., Software Architecture: Domain-Driven Design from LinkedIn, Exasol Certified Developer from Exasol, Tableau Desktop Certified Associate from Tableau Software in July 2019, and Tableau Desktop Specialist from Tableau Software in 2019.
