Patrick Whitfield

Patrick Whitfield serves as the Commercial Director at IDP Education Ltd since July 2025. Prior to this, Patrick held the positions of CEO and Chief Commercial Officer at BridgeU from July 2023 to July 2025. At Adventus.io, from September 2021 to July 2023, Patrick functioned as Chief Commercial Officer, leading the go-to-market strategy for a prominent EdTech student recruitment platform and overseeing a global sales organization. From March 2019 to August 2021, Patrick was the Group Commercial Director at IDP Connect, where responsibilities included defining the group go-to-market strategy and leading the global sales and data insights units. Additionally, from April 2017 to February 2019, Patrick was the Director & General Manager for QS Enrolment Solutions in the UK and Europe, overseeing sales, client services, marketing, and operations. Patrick holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology from The University of Manchester, obtained in January 2007.
