Tom Webster

Tom Webster possesses extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Coordinator for the English Writing Center at Ewha Womans University since August 2005, where responsibilities include managing operations, program implementation, and compliance with policies. In addition to this role, Tom has worked as an Assistant Professor, overseeing curriculum redesign in the language department for over 20,000 students and developing innovative course materials. Since July 2022, Tom has been a Virtual Educator for the U.S. Department of State, leading webinars and workshops for educators in Vietnam. With a long-standing role as a Certified IELTS Examiner for IDP Education Ltd since September 2012, Tom evaluates speaking components of English language proficiency tests. Earlier experience includes editing ESL textbooks at Chunjae Education Co., Ltd. Tom holds a PhD and a Master's in Education from the University of Southern Queensland, along with a Master's in Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the University of Central Florida.
