Alexander Kostopoulos

Alexander Kostopoulos is a seasoned professional in service operations and IT management with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Senior Service Operations Manager at IDS GmbH since September 2007, Alexander oversees managed investment data services for global clients of the Allianz Group. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Release Manager at Versicherungskammer Bayern from August 2003 to August 2007, where Alexander established and managed new release management for central insurance IT systems. Earlier in the career, as IT-Manager at risklab from November 1995 to June 2003, Alexander built and led a software development team and was seconded to Algorithmics in Toronto for a year. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Computer Science from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences and graduation as an Industrial Clerk from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Munich.
