Michael Rowley

Michael Rowley is an experienced editor and publishing consultant with a diverse background in various publishing roles. Currently serving as a Fiction Editor and Creative at Tomorrowland since February 2023, Rowley also operates as a Freelance Editor and Publishing Consultant with MJCR since January 2016, offering services in developmental editing and market analysis. Previously, Rowley held the position of Senior Commissioning Editor for Fiction and Non-Fiction at Rebellion Publishing Limited from February 2018 to February 2023, where expertise in Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror guided commissioning efforts. Additional roles include Editorial Director for Science Fiction and Fantasy at Del Rey, Ebury Publishing, and various positions at Waterstone's, including Fiction Range Buyer. Rowley’s educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The Manchester Metropolitan University and advanced degrees in Science Fiction Studies and English Literature and History.
