Kyla Malone has a diverse work experience in the marketing field. Kyla started their career as a Media Planner at Universal McCann in 2003 and worked there until 2006. Kyla then joined MediaVest/SMG as a Connections Manager from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they supervised a significant media budget and developed communication plans for consumer packaged goods launches.
Following that, Kyla pursued their graduate studies at New York University from 2008 to 2011. After completing their studies, they worked at Cox Communications as a Senior Marketing Specialist from 2011 to 2014. In this role, they developed and implemented strategic marketing initiatives and managed the annual marketing budget, ensuring positive return on investments and maintaining operating cash-flow.
Kyla then moved on to Cox Business, where they served as a Marketing Manager from 2014 to 2016. Here, they took on the responsibility of driving the strategic direction of marketing across Virginia. Kyla also managed regional and corporate marketing budgets, exceeding ROI and OCF forecasts.
From 2016 to 2018, Kyla worked at Sprint as a Field Marketing Manager. In this role, they oversaw local media and messaging strategies, sponsorships and integrated partnerships, social media, and retail store support. Kyla also kept up-to-date with the competitive landscape and changing technological trends to make informed decisions that maximized ROI and supported the company's business goals.
Most recently, Kyla joined IDT Corporation in 2018 as the Director of Marketing.
Kyla Malone earned a BSBA degree with majors in Marketing and Management, specializing in Integrated Marketing Communications, from The University of Tulsa from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued an MS in Integrated Marketing with a concentration in Brand Management at New York University from 2008 to 2010.
