Leon Paley

Leon Paley has over 40 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a specialization in voice engineering and systems architecture. As a Senior Voice Engineer at IDT from 2002 to 2024, Leon Paley led efforts to address customer network issues and manage the consequences of network failures. Previously, at GlobespanVirata from 2000 to 2002, Leon Paley co-authored market and product requirements for advanced telecommunications technology and served as the lead systems engineer for Channelized Voice over DSL. Leon Paley also held the position of Director of Systems Engineering at Ficon Technology Inc from 1997 to 2000, where management of a client-specific ATM project generated significant revenue. Earlier in career, Leon Paley worked at Bellcore (now Ericsson) from 1984 to 1997 as a Senior Consultant, focusing on system stability in public ATM networks. Leon Paley holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
