Daowei Bi is an expert on I&C and AI technologies for nuclear energy systems. Currently, Daowei serves as the IEC SC45A Working Group Convenor at the International Electrotechnical Commission and is the Director of the Department of Electrical and I&C Systems at the Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute. Daowei earned a Master of Engineering degree from Tsinghua University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009.
