Jo Vann is currently the IEC TC107 Technical Secretary and has held this position since January 2017, overseeing various working groups focused on anti-counterfeit activities and aerospace qualified electronic components. Jo previously worked as a Principal Component Engineer at Hamilton Sundstrand from 1987 to 1997, managing COTS components for significant aerospace programs. Jo also served as CEO and Senior Technologist Consultant from 1997 until retirement in 2025, actively contributing to multiple committees regarding electronic component management and technologies. Jo earned a BSc Honours in Physics from Cardiff University and an MSc in Microelectronics from Middlesex University.
