Peter Scheijgrond

Peter Scheijgrond is a seasoned professional in marine renewable energy, currently serving as the Director at Bluespring and the Chairman of the Dutch Energy from Water Association (EWA). They leverage a strong engineering background to assist technology developers, research institutes, and governments in financing and implementing marine energy projects. With extensive experience that includes contributions to securing over €50 million in public funding, Peter has played pivotal roles in various organizations, including the Dutch Marine Energy Centre and Tocardo BV. Their educational credentials include an M.Eng in Product Design Engineering from the University of Glasgow and an M.Phil from the University of Strathclyde.
