Research data sharing is critical to scientific innovation and reproducible research. IEEE is committed to supporting the data sharing needs of the research community. IEEE offers IEEE DataPort as a solution for researchers by enabling all research disciplines to store, share, access and manage data.

DOI
All datasets are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for use in articles and conference proceedings. Strengthen your content by referencing your dataset using your IEEE DataPort dataset DOI.

Citations
Research data in IEEE DataPort can lead to more citations. Data is citable and IEEE DataPort formulates citations for users and makes giving & receiving citations very easy.

2TB Cloud Storage
Store datasets up to 2TB FREE in IEEE DataPort (integrated with AWS S3 cloud). IEEE DataPort will store the dataset for 10+ years.

Open Access Option
Some funding requirements mandate that datasets be retained and made accessible to all on an "open access" basis. This can be accomplished on the IEEE DataPort platform.
