Alexander Hamilton

Alexander Hamilton is a Senior Staff Standardization Specialist at Nokia, responsible for leading global standards initiatives in radio performance requirements since January 2023. Concurrently, Hamilton serves as the Chair of the NATO Wireless Communications Standards Project, fostering collaborations to advance wireless technology for enhanced interoperability among NATO members. With extensive involvement in IEEE as a Vice-Chair and past Chair of the UK&I chapter of Information Theory, along with academic contributions as an Adjunct Fellow and Visiting Researcher at the University of Southampton, Hamilton has significantly influenced the field of wireless communications. Previous roles include Senior Principal Communications Scientist at Dstl and Research Task Group Chair for NATO IST Research Task Group 174. Hamilton holds a PhD in Resilient Communications for Tactical Systems from the University of Southampton and has over a decade of experience in communications engineering and standardization.
