April Compertore

April Compertore, CMP, is a highly experienced Senior Program Manager at IEEE, with a tenure beginning in January 2012. Compertore manages over 30 award presentations and oversees IEEE’s premier annual event, the IEEE VIC Summit and Honors Ceremony, focusing on high-level logistical details and stakeholder communications. Prior to this role, Compertore served as a Project Executive at Universal WorldEvents and a Team Leader in Client Integration at Dittman Incentive Marketing. Other positions include touring actor roles at American Theater Arts for Youth and various regional theaters. Compertore holds a BFA in Musical Theater from the University at Buffalo.
