Beth Carpenter is an experienced librarian with a diverse background in user services, educational technology, and instruction. At Bethany College, Beth served as a Liberal Arts Librarian from July 2014 to August 2017. From August 2017 to October 2021, Beth held multiple roles at Transylvania University, including User Services and Instruction Librarian, as well as Educational Technology and Instruction Librarian. Prior experience includes positions at Indiana University Bloomington as Senior Circulation Assistant, Graduate Supervisor, and Nighttime Supervisor and Reserves Assistant from September 2010 to August 2011. Currently, Beth is the Client Services Manager at IEEE since August 2025 and served as the Undergraduate Engineering & Instruction Librarian at the University at Buffalo from January 2022 to August 2025. Beth holds a graduate degree from Indiana University Bloomington obtained between 2010 and 2012.
