Carlos Cabrera, PE, SMIEEE, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Faculty Senator at Clemson University, Cabrera holds multiple leadership roles, including President of the South Carolina Chapter of Partners of the Americas and advisory board member at Greenville Technical College. As Dean of Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing and a board member of the Career Analysis Organization of America, Cabrera contributes significantly to engineering education and workforce development. Cabrera has a strong presence in professional organizations, having served as Chairperson of the Jacksonville Section of IEEE and various roles within ABET and InfraGard National Members Alliance. With a diverse educational background, including a PhD in Global Leadership in Higher Education from the Indiana Institute of Technology and studies in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at MIT, Cabrera continues to advance in leadership and engineering innovation.
