Clint Chaplin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in standards development and leadership within various technology organizations. Currently serving as Board Chair and Corporate Secretary of the FiRa Consortium, and as a co-chair in the CCWG, Clint has also held significant roles in IEEE 802 LMSC as a Member Emeritus, and in IEEE 802.15 since 2002. At Samsung Research America, Clint has been a Senior Principal Standards Engineer since 2006. Previous leadership positions include Chairman/President of the WiMedia Alliance and Board Representative roles in multiple alliances including the Alliance for Wireless Power and the Wi-Fi Alliance. Clint's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Engineering in High-Speed Digital Communication, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering, all obtained from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
