Danda B. Rawat

Danda B. Rawat, Ph.D., is a Tenured Full Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Howard University, where they also serve as Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Studies. As a founding director and principal investigator of the Research Institute for Tactical Autonomy (RITA) and the Cybersecurity and Wireless Networking Innovations Lab, Danda has successfully fostered collaboration among over 50 principal investigators from nine universities. They are an active member of several professional organizations, including IEEE and ACM, where they hold numerous editorial and distinguished lecturer positions. Danda continues to contribute to the fields of AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity through leadership roles in various centers of excellence.
