David Law

David Law is a distinguished technologist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise since November 2015 and serves as the Chair of the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Working Group and the IEEE-SA Standards Board Chair. With a rich background at HP as a distinguished technologist from 2010 to 2015 and a consultant engineer at 3Com from 1992 to 2010, Law has played significant roles in various engineering capacities, including Vice Chair of the IEEE 802.3 Working Group from 1996 to 2008. Earlier experience includes engineering roles at BICC Data Networks and Kent Process Control, while academic qualifications comprise a BEng (hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and an HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University.
