Dr. Eng. Davide Fabiani, born on January 7, 1972, in Forlì, holds both an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, awarded in 1997 and 2002, respectively. Since September 15, 2014, Davide has served as an Associate Professor in the Power Systems Group at the University of Bologna, after being an Assistant Professor there since 2004. Davide is also the Scientific Director of the Laboratory of Innovation Technologies at the university and has co-founded TechImp, a spin-off of Bologna University. In addition to numerous contributions to research and consultancy in electric power systems, Davide has held various leadership roles within IEEE's Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society and has authored over 200 papers in the field.
