Deepak Mathur

Deepak Mathur is an accomplished professional with significant experience in leadership roles within the IEEE organization and the energy sector. Currently serving as the IEEE Vice President Elect - MGA since January 2023, Deepak has previously held the position of Director for IEEE Region 10 (Asia-Pacific) from January 2019 to December 2022, as well as Director-Elect during 2019-2020. Deepak's expertise is further underscored by a tenure as Chief General Manager at ONGC from January 2012 to June 2020. Additionally, Deepak has contributed to IEEE India Council as Chairperson from January 2015 to December 2016 and has held chairman positions in both the IEEE Gujarat Section and the IEEE Gujarat Section SMC Chapter. Deepak earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, between 1979 and 1983.
