Doug Mackenzie is an experienced electrical engineer and program director specializing in microgrid project development and energy infrastructure solutions. Mackenzie holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Power and Energy from the University of Denver and a Master's degree in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University. Significant professional roles include serving as Program Director for Black & Veatch's Federal Energy Security Program, where Mackenzie created resilient and sustainable power solutions. Prior experience includes research on microgrids at the University of Denver and roles with WWOOF-USA® and IEEE as a volunteer. Mackenzie is currently positioned as a Senior Vice President at JLL.
