Douglas Plummer is an Electrical Engineering major at the University of Florida, specializing in IC design and power & energy, and is expected to graduate in May 2026. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of UF IEEE and the President of ECE Ambassadors, overseeing executive operations and promoting engagement within the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Additionally, Douglas holds the role of Treasurer for the UF Model United Nations, managing a budget exceeding six figures, while also engaging in research on 2D magnetic heterostructures as a Research Assistant at ECE Florida. Their previous experience includes interning with NextEra Energy and Sargent & Lundy, contributing to modernization efforts in nuclear power plants.
