Jerri Barrett

Jerri Barrett is a seasoned marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Corporate Engagement Director for the West Coast at IEEE, where responsibilities include championing initiatives for brand awareness and community outreach in Silicon Valley. Jerri Barrett also leads marketing and event management for the IEEE Industry Hub in Silicon Valley. As a consultant since 2012, Jerri Barrett has provided marketing, public relations, and social media project management for various clients, including VMware and CMD-IT. Previous roles include Director of Social Media at CMD-IT, Vice President of Outreach at SENS Research Foundation, and Vice President of Marketing at the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology. Jerri Barrett holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Mount Holyoke College.
