John Blyler

John Blyler is an accomplished engineer, textbook author, technology journalist, standards editor, lecturer, and marketer. Currently, John serves as a Standards Editor with the IEEE Standards Association and is writing the sixth edition of Wiley's Systems Engineering Management book. With experience spanning decades, John has held various prominent roles, including Project Manager at Northrop Grumman and Principal Systems Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company. In academia, John was an Affiliate Professor at Portland State University and has taught graduate courses at the University of California, Irvine. With a BS in Engineering Physics and an MS in Electrical Engineering, John has contributed significantly to the fields of engineering and technology through publications and editorial roles in esteemed journals.
