John T. Barr

John T. Barr has extensive experience in leadership roles within the IEEE, currently serving as the IEEE Conferences Committee Chair for 2025-26. Barr's contributions include past positions as IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society ADCOM Honorary Life Member, IEEE Conferences Committee Vice-Chair, and IEEE Employee Benefits and Compensation Committee Past Chair. Other notable roles include Chair of the Technical Program Integrity Committee and Conference Finance Committee, as well as past Treasurer of IEEE and member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, Barr has held various managerial positions at Agilent Technologies and HP, focusing on RF technology and product development.
