John Walz possesses extensive experience in technology and quality management roles, primarily within the IEEE organization since 2013, where key contributions include leadership as a member of various committees focused on climate technology, governance, and finance. Previously, John served as President of the IEEE Computer Society and held significant positions in the IEEE Standards Association and ASQ, promoting software engineering standards and quality management practices. With a strong background in consulting and engineering education, including a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University, John has consistently supported initiatives to enhance technical activities and organizational governance in the engineering domain.
