Keisha Carr

Keisha Carr, CMP, has extensive experience in event management, currently serving as Nominations and Appointments Specialist and Manager of Event Management Services at IEEE since March 2007. Key accomplishments include training and managing a team of Events Professionals, developing a Global Strategic Meetings Management Program, and overseeing a $15M conference migration to a new technology platform. Previously, Keisha held roles as Supervisor of Meetings & Conferences and Senior Conference Planner, with responsibilities including managing large-scale domestic and international meetings, budget management, and vendor negotiations. Earlier positions include Meeting Planner at the International Trademark Association and Senior Project Manager at Event Ready, demonstrating a consistent track record in successful event execution.
