Luiz Cheim

Luiz Cheim is a highly experienced professional in the field of electrical and electronic engineering, currently serving as a Senior Member at IEEE and holding the position of ABB Senior Principal R&D Engineer at ABB Power Grids since August 2018. With a extensive career at ABB TRES NORTH AMERICA since 2009, accomplishments include the development of the Submersible Transformer Inspection Robot (STIR) and contributions to the ABB Dynamic Transformer Management Program. Previous roles include Technical Consultant at Siemens, where innovative online transformer monitoring solutions were developed, and R&D project leadership at CEPEL.
