Mark Montgomery

Mark Montgomery is a creative director at IEEE Spectrum magazine, where they have worked since 2022, following a long tenure as senior art director beginning in 1994. With over 25 years of experience in publication design, Mark has led teams of art directors, designers, and illustrators, ensuring a cohesive vision and brand identity across both print and online platforms. Mark previously served as art director for AIChE from 1990 to 1994, managing various production aspects for a trade magazine. They hold a BFA in Illustration and Graphic Design from Pratt Institute, earned between 1979 and 1983.
