Michael A. Anthony holds extensive experience in electrotechnology, standards development, and education. Currently serving as Chairman of the Education & Healthcare Facility Electrotechnology Committee at IEEE since May 2014, Anthony is also a member of various committees, including the ANSI Company Member Forum Leadership Team and the NFPA National Electrical Code Healthcare Facilities Code Making Panel, where strategic concepts for technologically complex healthcare systems are developed. With a longstanding commitment to sustainable development, Anthony contributes as a participating member of the IEC SyC Smart Energy Committee and the International Organization for Standardization TC/ISO 268 focused on Sustainable Cities and Communities. In addition to his committee roles, Anthony has authored electrical engineering textbooks and drafts environmental standards for NSF International in collaboration with IEEE. Anthony's academic credentials include degrees from the University of Michigan, Georgia Institute of Technology, Michigan State University, and Harvard University.
