Min Wu (吴旻) is an accomplished leader in the field of signal processing and academia. Serving as the President of the IEEE Signal Processing Society for 2024-2025 and previously holding the roles of President-Elect and Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine, Min has significantly contributed to the organization's development. In addition to these roles, Min has been with the University of Maryland since 2001 as a Distinguished University Professor, Christine Yurie Kim Eminent Professor in Information Technologies, and Associate Dean of Engineering, focusing on graduate affairs and programs at the A. James Clark School of Engineering. Min's academic involvement includes extensive teaching and research within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Institute of Advanced Computer Studies. Min holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University and dual degrees in Electrical Engineering (Automation) and Economics from Tsinghua University.
