Dr. Min Zhang is a Professor at the Applied Superconductivity Laboratory at the University of Strathclyde, where they research cryogenic propulsion system design and development for future hydrogen-based aircraft. Previously, Dr. Zhang completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge and held positions as a Research Fellow at Newnham College and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Bath. They have also contributed to international engineering efforts as an Associate Dean International and as a board member of the European Society for Applied Superconductivity. Currently, Dr. Zhang leads the development of high-temperature superconducting machines for electric aircraft propulsion and serves as Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity.
