Mohammad N Anwar

Mohammad N Anwar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and power electronics. As a Fellow at IEEE since September 1997, Mohammad has contributed significantly to the field. Concurrently serving as a GM Technical Fellow at General Motors since December 2005, Mohammad specializes in electric drive, high voltage power systems, and power electronics, with a focus on electrified and autonomous vehicles. Previous roles include Senior Technical Specialist and Subject Matter Expert, highlighting proficiency in HV system architecture and design. Prior to General Motors, Mohammad was a Senior Systems Engineer and Senior Researcher at Visteon from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, Mohammad served as an Assistant Professor at Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology from 1994 to 1997. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Akron and advanced degrees from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
