Peter Rost

Peter Rost is a Professor at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology since May 2022 and has been a Senior Member of various organizations including IEEE, ComSoc, VDE, and ITG since 2005. Rost has extensive experience in research and project management, having served as a Senior Researcher and Research Project Manager at Nokia Bell Labs from May 2015 to April 2022, where responsibilities included AI/ML Technical Coordination and leading various R&D projects such as TACNET 4.0 and 5G NORMA. Prior experience includes roles at Technische Universität Darmstadt as a Lecturer, NEC Europe Ltd as a Senior Researcher focusing on mobile communication systems, and several internships with IBM and the Fraunhofer Institute. Rost holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Technische Universität Dresden, and additional degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Stuttgart.
