Prasenjit Shil currently serves as the IEEE Region 5 North Area Chair since January 2024 and has been an integral part of Ameren since November 2009, holding various managerial positions including Manager of Innovation, Forecasting and Load Research Manager, and Senior Forecasting and Load Research Specialist. In addition to roles at Ameren, Prasenjit has been the Diversity and Inclusion Committee Chair for IEEE Region 5 since January 2022. Prior experience includes working as an Asset and Trade Optimization Specialist at Ameren and interning at Sprint, alongside academic pursuits at the University of Missouri-Rolla where a PhD in Engineering Management was obtained. An undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering was earned from the University of Madras.
