Ron Carlson has extensive experience in engineering, business development, and project management across various sectors including security and telecommunications. Since 1978, Ron has been a member of IEEE, currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Substations Physical Security Standards Committee. Past roles include Project Manager at 911 Security and National Practice Lead at Insight, where significant emphasis was placed on customer satisfaction and project expansion. As a Board Member at New Class Five, Ron contributed to product development strategies. Additional positions include General Manager at Mace Security Products, where gross profits were increased significantly, and Director of Business Development at Adcomp, successfully managing system-level projects, including a notable Department of Homeland Security initiative. Ron holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge.
