Santosh Das

Santosh Das is a dedicated academic professional currently serving as a PhD Researcher at the SWAN Lab, IIT KGP, and an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, since November 2022. With a research focus on the green consensus POW protocol in Blockchain for energy minimization, Santosh has extensive experience in academia, having previously held roles as a Coordinator of the spoken tutorial at IIT Bombay and as an Assistant Professor and In-Charge of the CSE Department at Dream Institute of Technology. Active in professional organizations, Santosh is a member of ACM and IEEE, and holds the position of Vice President Academics for the ISOC Kolkata Chapter for the 2023-2024 term. Educational qualifications include ongoing research in IoT at IIT Kharagpur, alongside a Master's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology.
