Simone Bastioli

Simone Bastioli is an accomplished professional in the field of microwave engineering, currently serving as an MTT Distinguished Microwave Lecturer and Associate Editor for IEEE since January 2013. With extensive experience, Simone has been the Chief Engineer at RS Microwave Inc. since November 2010, focusing on the research, design, and development of high-performance microwave filters and components for both commercial and military RF applications. Previous roles include Microwave Research Engineer at RF Microtech srl and Visiting Student at Ericsson AB. Simone holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering (RF and Microwave), as well as MEng and BEng degrees in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering, respectively, all from the University of Perugia.
