Steve Diamond

Steve Diamond is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in standards development and strategic management across various high-tech companies and organizations. Currently serving as Chair of the Cloud Computing Standards Committee and the Future Directions Committee at IEEE since January 2009, Steve promotes the advancement of cloud computing standards and early-stage technologies. Previous roles include Senior Director of the Industry Standards Office at VMware, General Manager of the Industry Standards Office and Global Standards Officer at EMC, and significant positions at Cisco Systems, Picosoft, and Equator Technologies. Steve also held leadership positions on the IEEE Board of Directors and within the IEEE Computer Society, driving initiatives that support technological advancement and innovation in the industry.
