Steve Newton

Steve Newton is a retired technology executive with extensive experience in optical communications and applied research. They held leadership roles at Keysight Technologies, Agilent Technologies, and Hewlett-Packard, managing various departments and research laboratories focused on electronics, photonics, and measurement science. Newton’s academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Applied Physics from Stanford University, along with a B.S. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they graduated summa cum laude. They have also been recognized as a Fellow of IEEE for contributions to optical reflectometry and spectrum analysis.
