Thabo Mofokeng

Thabo Mofokeng is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. Thabo has served as a Non-Executive Director and member of the Board EXCO at MICT SETA since April 2018, focusing on skills development funding opportunities in the electronic media and ICT industries. As Managing Director at Solario Technologies since June 2006, Thabo specializes in project engineering and technology management, having successfully completed key projects for prestigious organizations such as Sentech and Eskom. Thabo is also a Senior Member of the IEEE Communications Society and has held leadership roles, including President of the Information Technology Association of South Africa from 2014 to 2022. Additional experience includes project management for the Gauteng Broadband project and consultancy roles in various organizations. Thabo holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Howard University.
