Wei Tan is a Senior Quantitative Researcher at Citadel, focusing on machine learning algorithms in quantitative trading. They began their career as an Intern Student at IBM China Research Lab and later held positions at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center and as a Research Staff Member at IBM, where they worked on GPU and Spark accelerated machine learning. Wei also served as a Research Professional Associate at the University of Chicago, concentrating on grid computing in biomedicine, and is currently an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering. Wei is pursuing a Bachelor in Automation at Tsinghua University.
